Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow combines flowing movement sequences with held positions and Ujai breathing.  It is a vigorous yet playful yoga workout practiced with ease.

Vinyasa Flow is practiced in a room with a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. The heat allows you to reach advanced positions in a protected environment.  The emphasis on breath and the heat challenge your circulation and result in sweating and detoxification.  Some sessions are accompanied by music.

 

Vinyasa Flow is especially suitable for those who:

- Want to deepen and broaden their experiences from Yoga Basic

- Want to practice new positions and variations.

 

Focus:

- Intensive practice for the coordination of breathing and movement as a result of the fluid position changes.

- Your body weight is used as it would be in weight training with specific strength training from changing positions and balancing positions.

- Balance and coordination are trained intensively.

- Physical and mental stamina are strengthened.

- Mental focus and concentration are promoted.

 

Benefits:

- Strengthens and stretches the entire body—even deeper muscle layers and the pelvic floor.

- The relief of spine, joints, and organs; the prevention of age-related ailments.

- The stimulation of the metabolism, (Agni/ inner fire) from the combination of yoga positions and Ujai breathing; this leads to intense detoxification of internal systems.

 

Vinyasa Flow Level 1

For all those who already know the basics of yoga (from basic or hot yoga) who would like to deepen their practice.  Yoga positions and breathing techniques are developed and taught step by step.

Prerequisite: Basic Yoga or Hot Yoga

 

Vinyasa Flow Level 2

For all those who know the basic yoga positions and YogaKula style. We recommend prior experience of 6 months to 1 year before visiting this level.

Suitable for all who have been regularly practicing for at least a year.  At this challenging level, advanced yoga positions strengthened, linked together, and held longer.

Prerequisite: Vinyasa Flow 1
